The altona Diagnostics team shares a scientific background in infectious diseases and molecular technologies. Our history in research and business activities provides over 20 years of experience in molecular diagnostics, focusing on real-time PCR and other relevant technologies. This includes the development and validation of molecular diagnostic test systems as well as the transfer into new ready to use kits for IVD purposes.

AltoStar® Automation System AM16 together with the AltoStar® Connect software is intended to be used in combination with the AltoStar® Purification Kit 1.5 and the AltoStar® Internal Control 1.5 for automated purification of nucleic acids and automated assay setup for in vitro diagnostic purposes. For real-time PCR choose ready to use reagents from a broad AltoStar® PCR kit portfolio. The RealStar® PCR Reagents are designed to amplify and detect pathogen specific DNA or RNA by real-time PCR.
